Nasty C was born as Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo [1] on Tuesday, February 11, 1997 (age 23 years; as in 2020), in Diepkloof, Soweto, South Africa. After his mother died in a fatal car accident, he was raised by his father in Durban, South Africa. He started rapping when he was nine years old and completed his high school education from Allen Glen High School in Roodepoort, Johannesburg.

Career

As a Music Artist

On May 24, 2013, at the age of sixteen, Nasty C released his debut mixtape titled ‘One Kid a Thousand Coffins.’

Later, in 2014, he released a mini-album, L.A.M.E (Levitating Above My Enemies). In 2015, he released the mixtape, ‘Price City’ which featured the song titled ‘Juice Back’ that earned him immense recognition.

Thereafter, in 2016, he released his debut album, ‘Bad Hair’ under Mabala Noise Entertainment. Bad Hair turned out to be one of his most prominent albums which reached number-one on the iTunes local charts and was the most-streamed album in South Africa within 24 hours of its release.

On December 2, 2016, Ngcobo released the extended version of the album ‘Bad Hair’ named ‘Bad Hair Extensions’ which featured four new songs including the lead single, Allow, for which he won various awards at the 16th Metro FM Music Awards. Thereafter he has released various albums such as Strings and Bling (2018), Zulu Man with Some Power (2020).

OTT/Web Series

Nasty C made his digital debut with a cameo role in the Netflix African adult series, Blood & Water, in which he played the role of Zhero.
